Kids swim To Save our Bay.
Local children have been actively involved in the activities to Save the Bay which they love. Weedy Sea Dragon was devloped by a local artist – a giant sculpture which the children enjoy. It has become the Blue Wedges mascot.
Local Mt.Martha year 7 student, Elyse Coates-McCarthy, will lead a 1km swim from Mornington Pier to Mills Beach on 19 January 08. She is hoping about 50 of her peers will join her. Mornington LSC will be in attendance. Weedy seadragon will be there to inspire. Be there for the swim to cheer on the kiddies who will plunge into the Bay at 10.00 am.
