We have a photo taken 50 years ago which shows clearly the loss of beach as the result of past bay @ heads dredging!!! Maybe a flyer showing the before & after level of beach would highlight the changes to our bay water levels. John Reid Thanks for this John, We need such keen observation now! I also spent over 50 years swimming in this Bay and am appalled at the deteroration of the water quality and beaches. Have noticed how a few councils have had to rebuild their beaches since the trial dredging. You would think they would be actively rejecting the proposal to continue?! Enjoy your swims. We need such keen observation now! I also spent over 50 years swimming in this Bay and am appalled at the deteroration of the water quality and beaches.
