<description>We are a small group of swimmers who are opposed to the proposed dredging of our beautiful bay, we meet at the Dromana Boat Hire (Pt Nepean Rd opposite Foote Street ) Tues &amp; Thursday 7am for a swim. We have a photo taken 50 years ago which shows clearly the loss of beach as the result of past bay @ heads dredging!!! Maybe a flyer showing the before &amp; after level of beach would highlight the changes to our bay water levels. John Reid

Thanks for this John,
We need such keen observation now! I also spent over 50 years swimming in this Bay and am appalled at the deteroration of the water quality and beaches. Have noticed how a few councils have had to rebuild their beaches since the trial dredging. You would think they would be actively rejecting the proposal to continue?!
Enjoy your swims.
